Custom designed seat wall, concrete edging, and extension/designing of new landscape beds.

Featured Project
Hardscaping & LandscapingSioux Falls, SD

Premium Custom Landscape & Hardscape Transformation. This project featured a complete landscape renovation designed to elevate both the appearance and functionality of the property. We removed all existing plastic edging, expanded the landscape beds, created a new planting area, and installed custom stamped and colored concrete edging for a clean, permanent finish. The renovated beds were completed with premium decorative river rock, creating a low-maintenance landscape with lasting curb appeal. As the focal point of the project, our team excavated the area for the stock tank and designed and built a custom curved seat wall that seamlessly wraps around it, delivering a one-of-a-kind outdoor living space that blends craftsmanship, durability, and timeless design.

Custom 12x12 paver patio with charcoal border, regraded for proper drainage away from the foundation.

Featured Project
Hardscaping & Patio InstallSioux Falls, SD

A custom-built 12x12 paver patio tucked into the back corner of the home, framed with a dark grey charcoal soldier-course border for a sharp, finished edge. Before a single paver was set, we regraded the base so every drop of water sheds away from the foundation instead of toward it — the detail that separates a patio that lasts from one that settles. The base was excavated, compacted, and screeded flat so the surface stays true season after season. The existing river rock was reorganized and the side bed was shortened to tighten the lines around the new patio (rock was not hauled in by us). The result is a clean, low-maintenance outdoor space with crisp geometry and craftsmanship that holds up to South Dakota freeze-thaw.

Kerwin Property Maintenance did an outstanding job! They were extremely efficient, went above and beyond my expectations, and left everything neat, clean, and looking fantastic. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Full landscape bed regrade, new window wells, and river rock install to solve basement water issues.

Drainage, Grading & LandscapingSioux Falls, SD

This homeowner was taking water into the basement, so we fixed the cause instead of the symptom. We regraded every landscape bed around the home so water sheds away from the foundation, replaced all window wells with new gravel and covers, and rebuilt the beds from the ground up — removing all plants, trees, and bushes, along with every previous layer of mulch, rock, and old fabric. From there we brought in fresh soil, new weed fabric, new plastic edging, and clean river rock for a sharp, low-maintenance finish that protects the house. We also completely removed the old front concrete steps to prep the entry for a new deck being installed by another contractor.
